Université libre du Burkina is one of Burkina Faso’s not so top ranked private universities, it is funded and managed by private individuals and it was established in the early 2000s. The university is located in Ouagadougou one of the nation's largest cities. Free University of Burkina was established having noticed the growing trend and increase in technological innovations and advancements role in national development, and having observed the country’s lack of skilled man power in this industry. The university set out to be a world class university training her students to be experts in different fields of study particularly technology.
