University of Kigali

University of Kigali is one of the many universities that is located in Kigali, Rwanda. The university is one of the nation's contemporary/recently founded universities, having been established in the year 2013. It is a privately funded and managed university. It has since her inception been committed to training her student to meet the very dynamic needs of the workforce in the country. It plays her role in national development by producing skilled manpower in different fields so they can make significant contributions to the nation's economy. The University aims to be known across Africa as one of the most academically excellent and knowledgebase institution in the country. The university runs on a trimester academic calendar, it is coeducational and has no religious or socio-cultural preferences. University of Kigali has a relatively small student body which is quite diverse. The university admits students within the country and from different parts of the world. It is a culturally inclusive university with a very laid out campus setting. It has a number of good facilities, her accommodations facilities are good, the campus is well laid out, college building and classrooms are also very good. The university does not have a very large population, the staff to student ratio could be better. The university offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate academic degrees in her various faculties, some of which include the faculty of education and others. Tuition has a number of campus sites located in different parts of the country. The university tuition goes for over 500,000 to about 1,000,000 Rwanda franc. Admissions into this university is quite competitive.
