University of Seychelles

University of Seychelles is a full time privately funded and managed university in Seychelles and at the time of this writing is the only university in the country. The university was established in the year 2009 and is located in one of the country’s moderately populated town. The university is committed to being an innovative university involved in research and development and the discovery of new knowledge and approaches that can be used to make the world a better place. The University of Seychelles trains her students in not just academics but also moral character, students are trained to be experts in their various fields by seasoned professionals. The university has a number of core values, it uses to guide its operations some of which include respect, tolerance amongst others. The university offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in several fields of study, some of which include sciences and social sciences, these fields are further broken done into faculty of business and sustainable development amongst others. The university is a coeducational university that runs a trimester academic calendar, it has a very small community of staff and students. The university admits international student and its admission process is not too competitive. The University of Seychelles offers financial aid and support to her student, the university alumni are steadily creating a name for themselves as competent man power in their various field. The university has well-furnished library, classrooms, ICT labs and several others that allows student have an optimal learning experience in the university.
