University of Technology and Arts of Byumba

University of Technology and Arts of Byumba is a private contemporary university that is located in Byumba, northern Rwanda. The university being a private university is funded and managed by private individuals and it is one of the few universities in that part of the country. It aims to become an institution known in the enation and continent at large for excellence, contribution to development and professionalism in different fields of study. The university provides equal access to quality education both to the immediate environment and to the world. The university has about 5 core values which it instills into her student and uses to run her operations. It runs a continuous academic calendar and a fairly medium sized student population, the staff body is also small considering the amount of students, however it is a growing community. University of Technology and Arts of Byumba has no religious affiliation, neither it is affiliated to any social-cultural background in Rwanda, local and international student are free to seek admission into the university. Admission process is not extremely competitive however, there are more local students than international students in the university, it’s student population is quite diverse. The university offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate academic degrees in her various faculties, come of which include, the faculty of education, faculty of agriculture and environmental management and several others. Tuition into this university goes between 400,000 to about 600,000 Rwandan franc.
