University of Venda is a South African based university that is located in the northern province of South Africa called Limpopo. The university was established in 1982, the university hopes to be a major factor behind the development of its immediate environment and rural areas in South Africa. The university is committed to promoting academic excelled, research and skill acquisition, the university has a number of core values some of which include accountability, diversity and integrity amongst others. It trains her students making use of effective teaching approaches and excellent education resource, it is also a research centric university that proffers research based solutions to problems in her immediate society. The university has a medium sized student population and staff population consisting of seasoned professional in the various fields it is a coeducation university with a diverse student body. The University of Venda also has a good staff to student ratio which is good for learning. The university offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate academic degrees in her various fields. Some of which include the school of agriculture, the school of health sciences, the school of social sciences and several others. It has no religious affiliation nor socio-cultural affiliation and they hold no weigh during the universities competitive admission selection process.
