Industrial and Production Engineering. It�s not common like other courses in engineering like mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering etc. Students learn about different systems in industry their properties and how these systems are produced and maintained. Individuals aspiring to study this course are advised to have a good foundation in mathematics, physics and chemistry as topics taught in these subjects would be revisited during the course of their study and students should also be prepared to do a lot of calculations.
It is a Five year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Industrial Engineers etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and One other Science Subject.
