Undergraduates learn how to collect and gather data and information from different sources, they also learn how to analyze, interpret, present and organize data. Individuals that intend to study this course should pay close attention to things like Mean, Median and Mode, Summations and different statistics operations. Graduates of this course have different career opportunities and can work almost anywhere in Nigeria that deals with a lot of data.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics and any of Physics, Chemistry or Economics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Economics, Physics, Statistics, chemistry and Geography.
