Animal Science

This course is Quite Similar to Animal Production but here students study these animals, their Biology and Behaviors. More often Undergraduates are exposed to the different Parts of Animals like Cattles, Sheep and Chickens etc. Individuals that Intend to study this course should have paid close attention to agricultural science in secondary school.

They should also have an Interest in the course and Animals so as to enjoy their four years of study. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Animal Scientists, Ranchers and Farmers etc. .

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, either Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,either Geography or Economics or Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Agricultural Science.
