Microbiology


Every day we interact with Microbes, some harmful and some useful to us. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course learn how these microscopic organisms behave, their characteristics and how they can be used in industries. The course cuts across topics in Biology, Mitosis, cell biology, Biochemistry, meiosis, Ecology and other biological science related topics etc. Graduates of the course have career Opportunities as Medical Lab Technologists, Lab Assistants etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, either of Mathematics or Physics , CHemistry and Biology in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
